Hair Dilemma

Catherine Cardona

i always had curly hair.. my mom used to worry about me hair ever since me was a toddler. she tot i might jut end up with an afro hair when i grow up (mom, that would have been cool!).. But yeah, i still had curly hair and all the way thru school, everybody made a big deal over my hair.

Once a upon a time (i'm kinda embarrassed to admit this part), im the class baby, i was a class baby, cos my fellow mates would take turn to do up my hair. And i earn a little bit of money to do some ads hehe! my hair was was very long and curly! and i was loved and teased over it!

First hair cut i went shoulder length and then i went straight to pixie hair cut (thanks to Wynona in Reality Bites, my fav movie!) and i never look back nor did i kept it long.. Never went any longer than mid neck length (plus it was the easiet to manage! wake up, wash, wind down car window and tada! my hair was done!)

So last year without me realising, i accidentally kept my hair long (well maybe i didnt have time to go to the salon) and WAH LAH! my hair WAS lonnnnggg and sultry and i had to use an iron (for the very first time in my life i used any electronic shit on me hair) to keep it flowy straight and everybody said i look HOT! hahahaha (well, usually i have me super frizzy mad hair).

And u know what, due to the ironing process, first time in my life i had split ends!!!! eeeeeeeeeee, i regretted using the iron.. its just not that, now my curls are unruly, not unison, some may curl and some wont .. arghhhhh its so sad... so i cut it.. but not too short.. why? wedding! everybody said, please dont have short hair fer ur wedding. least have the length so we can bun it up..yadayada.. boring!

Arghhh, so, im counting to wedding day and the very next day, me gonna chop it off exactly like Ms. Cardona and hopefully i can get me curls back, just exactly like Ms. Cardona..

Oh i miss u my curly swirls..
